GEORGE P. HARRIS, II
George’s practice focuses on criminal defense throughout the State of Maryland where he represents clients during every stage of litigation.
Thoroughly trained at the Howard University School of Law, George developed his orating and writing abilities by winning multiple International Moot Court competitions where he competed against the top legal students from nations across the globe. He was named the ‘Best Orator’ in the 2013 Goler Teal Butcher International Moot Court Competition, captained the 1st place team at the 2014 Susan J. Ferrell Moot Court Competition, and placed in the top-20 of all participants from 40 worldwide universities at the 2015 Foreign Direct Investment International Moot Court Competition.
Since law school, George has continued his tenaciousness and is an established trial attorney, having successfully litigated dozens of bench and jury trials in Maryland. Known for his thoroughness, and being a shrewd operator, George leaves no stone unturned and takes no shortcuts. His practice is client-centered: he puts clients first and treats them and their circumstance with the utmost respect. At his core, George loves to help others, and is rewarded by this service itself.
